Who we are:
We at Bayline Lift Technologies, LLC are dedicated to the policy of Independent Elevator Inspections by our QEI certified inspectors. All of our inspectors are members and certified with NAESA (National Association of Elevator Safety Authority).
Our inspectors have 10 years or more experience with inspections, actual maintenance and construction of elevators. Our total experience is more than 250 years in the trade and we bring an attitude not only of inspection, but also help our clients and those that maintain the elevator equipment in a common sense way.
Bayline Building Services was started in August 1997 by Jim Brune as a consulting and inspection company based out of Chesapeake, Virginia. In January 2003 the company became Bayline Lift Technologies, LLC. As time went on, our clients such as Johnson Controls, International Paper, the NASA, DOD, and other Governmental Operations and Private Sector have asked that we consult in the rehabilitation and new construction of various elevator projects. Our consulting services include not only evaluations but also the writing of specifications on new, modernizations, and maintenance contracts. Because of our experience we have developed associations with both engineers and architects. This enables us to handle all aspects of Independent evaluation and specification writing in house. Being independent in the elevator trade, the only loyalty we have is to our clients. We do not have an adversarial relationship with the Elevator and Maintenance Companies, far from it, however, we make it clear that we represent our customer and our job is to audit the results of their work.

Our partnerships and relationships with local municipalities, corporate and public clients, is something that we take a great deal of pride on. Probably, the reason for this good relationship is that we get the customers paperwork and certifications to them in a timely manner, and that whenever they have a problem or question we are there for them. We have also helped build a platform of inspections for these cities and counties that they can rely on.
